Update

After some careful consideration this website has now moved to www.theirishatwar.webeden.co.uk where i will be writing a complete history of the Irish at War, including the famous Irish Regiments. It will be a long journey, but it is my ulitmate aim to provide a complete history about us ' Fighing Irish ' I have created this new website for my countrymen, and it is purely a website for those interested in our culture and history. The new website starts at the very beginning of Irish History, to discover why we Irish are such a war-like people and why we have produced some of the finest soldiers in history. It is also a site about Irish rebellions and foreign wars which have forged the history of our people. I hope that you enjoy looking at it. Best wishes Steve.
